I posted a survey bulletin on my space and one of the questions was what your display name (sypha belnades) means.

MB: "Sypha Belnades is a sorceress from Konami's Castlevania series. She appears as a playable character in Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, which was published on the NES in 1990."

Rob:  "don't you mean she first appeared in 悪魔城伝説 (akamajou densetsu) for the famicom in 1989?"

MB:  "NO! IN 悪魔城伝説 (akamajou densetsu), HER NAME WAS URATA AND NOT SYPHA BELNADES!"


...and then it hit me - that was the geekiest thing I have ever said.

I, along w/ the wife and daughter, will be out of town from early Thursday AM until late Sunday. I also have jury duty on Monday. I don't think I will be bringing my laptop with me, but even if I do I do not know what kind of connectivity I will have if any. Also, I do not have a cell phone currently so if you need to get in touch with me for anything, please do so before Wednesday night or it will have to wait until Tuesday at the earliest.

So i've been kind of a hermit.. but its been so..... blah. In the month. I've sprain my foot twice. working my ass off. Su said she going to by me a ring. I was almost hit by a mack trunk and died a few days ago. I have a large breast married woman trying to seduce me. Saw iron man Found a nice pair of oakley eyeglasses. training a my new boss even though i wasnt good enough for the job. < I was told, Well I want him to sit near you so you can answer question and train him.> I love my new car.. and sleeping when i can. Some day I'll find a single girl LOL

And to all reading this who have Moms, Grandmas, or a maternal loving caregiver, be good to them. There's hardly a couple days that go by that I don't think, "I wish I could tell that to Mom", or "I wish Gram could try what I just cooked!", or even, "I wish Dad knew that I vacationed back where we'd gone when I was a kid", "I would love to tell Grandpa what I just made, using what he taught me", "I wish I could send Uncle Louie a copy of this CD we recorded."

Respect who you have, while you have them.

this time to ticketmaster - I just bought a couple of tickets for the Vatican Splendors exhibit tomorrow for mother's day...  After paying $3.50 convenience fees on BOTH tickets and then a service charge on top of that, I was pretty pissed. once the transaction was complete, they prompted me for a survey! here's what I said:

Your "convenience fees" are a little unreasonable - and by "a little", I mean "extremely". I mean, sure, I guess it would be okay per order, but per ticket? And then you charge an order processing fee on top of that, too? I spent an extra $10 on what? NOTHING! I might as well take a $10 bill out of my wallet and burn it. No, wait - I would at least get warmth in return. You should rename your company "ticketreich".

So...

I've been having a LOT of trouble sleeping lately. Either it has been insomnia keeping me up all night, or when I do fall asleep, it's only for a couple of hours. A short while ago, I was finally on the verge of falling asleep... then I caught a hint of movement on the bed. A spider was moving across my sheets.

I'm arachnophobic. It's dead now, but so much for sleep.

I worked on the computer for a bit, and was about to climb back into bed... then I caught a hint of movement on my desk. Another spider. It got away.

Now I'm freaked... and won't be sleeping anytime soon.


sigh...

I hate me... often.
